2 held for selling gazelle parts in Kishangarh

India:  Kishangarh police on Tuesday arrested two persons for selling body parts of Indian gazelle in the town. They are investigating the accused to uncover other animal killings.
According to police, Ramniwas and Ramesh were trying to sell the skin and hair of gazelle in the market.

 "On getting information, we sent a team to verify the incident," said Jogender Rathore. The team went to Mahela Road and a constable in civil clothes went to the accused posing as a businessman willing to purchase the body parts of gazelle.

 "When the lead was confirmed, we arrested the accused and seized the skin and hair of gazelle," added police.

 Ramniwas (77), resident of Jawahar Nagar, Kota and Ramesh (60) of Kishangarh, were arrested and booked under the Wildlife Act for transporting the parts of wild life.

 "We are investigating to know from where they got the parts of these animals," police said
