India: The RMC Yard police have arrested five persons and recovered deer and leopard pelts that they were trying to sell in the city.

On a tip off, a team of police raided a place on Friday and arrested Ajaz (28) and Edwin (26) from Linarajapuram, John (30) from R.S. Palya, Mohammed Zubair (30) from Neelasandra, and Aravind Kumar (28) from KGF.

The accused told the police that they have bought the pelts from their contact and were trying to sell to make a profit. However, the police have taken them into custody for questioning to ascertain whether they are part of the bigger wildlife poaching racket.
