2 poachers arrested with leopard skin

India: Dehradun police on Wednesday arrested two members of inter-state wildlife poaching and smuggling gang and seized one leopard skin from them.
Acting on a tip-off provided by wildlife crime control bureau, a team of Dehradun police nabbed the smugglers, identified as Dharam Singh and Chandar Singh Chauhan, both residents of Dehradun. According to senior superintendent of police Arun Mohan Joshi, “Both were arrested from Anaarwala area of the city with a 8-ft-long leopard skin. Both confessed of killing the leopard near Chakrata last month. They said that they brought the skin to Dehradun for sale.”
