India: The Bagdogra police on Sunday arrested three persons following a tip-off in connection with the smuggling of a rare species of lizard.

India:A total of 35 bags containing nearly 1,500 tortoises were seized by railway authorities here on Friday.
Following a tip off, Railway Protection Force (RPF) carried out a raid and seized the bags.
Three people, residence of Uttar Pradesh have been arrested till now in the case.

India: Two smugglers were arrested from Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal with a 10-feet-long leopard skin, forest department officers said.
The two, who are inhabitants of Jaigaon in Bhutan border, were apprehended from a dhaba at Odlabari area last night during a raid, they said.
