Forest officials seize 150 partridges

 

India : The Forest officials on Thursday seized 150 partridges which had been brought for sale here. The officials are on the look out for two women, who allegedly brought the birds to the market and those responsible for catching them in forest areas.

Ravindra Kumar, Assistant Conservator of Forests, told The Hindu on Friday that his staff members had received the information about two women selling the birds in the market. The forest personnel reached the spot and recovered the birds
