India: Forest Officials arrested two members of a gang involved in smuggling wildlife articles in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri. The forest range officials also seized 1.5 kilogram of elephant ivory, some foreign currency, coins, cough syrups, documents and ATM cards. Arrested men have been identified as Zulfikar Ansari and Yassir who are residents of Sikkim. The police informed that culprits had a plan to smuggle the articles to Nepal. Both the accused will be taken to the Jalpaiguri District Court.
