Dhangadhi, Nepal: Five people were arrested in Kailali with fake currency, tiger bones and herbs. According to the police, they were arrested from Dhangarhi Sub Metropolitan City-4 Bus Park and 13 Rajpur.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ved Prakash Joshi said that 55-year-old Lal Bahadur Saund of Chure Rural Municipality-6 was arrested with four notes of one thousand rupees in front of the Salt Trading Corporation.
According to him, four other people have been arrested along with 138 notes of one thousand rupees during the investigation.
Those arrested include Leeladhar Mishra, 33, of Lekam Rural Municipality-6 in Darchula, Karan Singh Dhami, 30, Tekendra Dhami, 19, and Mohan Singh, 50, of Shikhar Municipality-10, Doti. Bohras of Badakedar Rural Municipality-1 who were staying at SS Hotel in Rajpur.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Joshi said that 138 fake notes, 5.5 kg of tiger-like skeletal bones in a zebra bag and banned herbs hidden in plastic were also recovered from Dhami, who was camping in Rajpur. According to the police, further action is being taken by taking them into custody.
