Bangladesh: One accused was arrested along with a gecko was from the Signboard area by Siddhirganj police station of Narayanganj district. The gecko was about 15 inches long and weight 269 grams. It is learned that the gecko was being collected from Bandarban and taken to a vendor in Munshiganj. The rescued Gecko was later released into the natural forest under Kaliakair Range in Gazipur district.
