Nepal: Police have busted four persons involved in smuggling of leopard skin in Salyan district.
The Salyan District Police Office has confirmed that the smugglers were nabbed Saturday while they were negotiating the price of leopard skin, pricing it around Rs 1.5 million.
The Regional Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police arrested the smugglers with leopard skin hidden in bags, said Salyan DSP Shyam Kumar Khatry.
The arrested are Rana Bahadur Kawar, 28, of Mahadevpuri-5, Dhakeri, Bhuwan Yogi, 35, of Bagchaur municipality-8, Kotmaula, Belaram Giri, 44, of Bagchaur municipality-9, Patihalna and Bhesh Kumari Chand, 33, of Damchaur-1, Palate of Banke district.
Preparation is underway to hand over the smugglers with leopard skin to the District Forest Office for further investigation, DSP Chand shared. RSS
