Nepal: A team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police led by Sub-Inspector Birendra Johari arrested a man with a tiger’s skin (about 10 feet) from Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City of Kailali district on Friday. The arrestee has been identified as 18-year-old Sanam Jagri alias Sanam Jayakar of Parshuram Municipality-4, Dadeldhura. Jagri was accompanied by a Bajhang district resident Jagat Dhami, 45, but he managed to flee from the scene. Jagri accepted that the confiscated tiger skin was handed over by a team of Lambu Phariyad, Mustak and Rijwan hailed from Pilibhit, India.
Similarly, police on Thursday arrested two people with a bear’s bile from the Capital. They are Bam Bahadur Tamang, 34, of Bhojpur Sampang-6 and Surya Shrestha, 32, of Lampantar-4, Sindhuli.
Police have sent Jagri to District Forest Office, Kailali and Tamang and Shrestha to District Forest Office, Kathmandu for further action.
