RASUWA-Nepal, Sept 15: One person has been arrested with Red Panda hide from Dhaibung-5, Kalikasthan of the district. Nepal Army (NA) arrested Purwa Tamang of Deurali, Nuwakot while he was ferrying the contraband by hiding in a sack of potatoes on a bus en route to Kathmandu from Syaprubeshi. A squad of NA arrested Tamang during security checks while he was smuggling hide of the endangered animal. Chief Conservation Officer at Langtang National Park Bed Kumar Dhakal informed that Tamang will be charged as per the National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act.
