India: Belacova forest range officials under Baikunthapur division on Tuesday arrested five poachers with a rhino horn weighing 650 grams. The five have been identified as Hamidul Sarkar, Rasidul Islam, Pafijuddin Miya, Jaleel Miya and Bajla Rehman, residents of Alipurduar and Cooch Behar. Acting on a tip-off, the local police arrested the poachers on NH 31 near Fatapukur when they were waiting to catch a bus. (Source: The Echo of India)
