India: Over 150 star tortoises were confiscated from the suitcase of a passenger at Chennai Central station on Tuesday. The man, however, managed to escape. Railway police sources said that he entered the concourse through the main entrance and was asked to place his suitcase at the baggage scanner. While it was being scanned, he fled the spot. The star tortoises had been wrapped in cloth. They were handed over to Forest Department.
