Two held with live pangolin from Bhaktapur

Nepal: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police Wednesday arrested two persons along with a pangolin from Mahamanjushree Nagagarkot Municipality of Bhaktapur. Pangolin is a protected wildlife species.

The arrested are Gyan Bahadur Moktan of Gokule, Kavrepalanchowk and Anil Moktan of Sindhuli.
Meanwhile, seven people arrested for black-marketeering of petrol products Tuesday from different parts of the capital have been handed over to Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu Wednesday.

Illegal trade of petroleum products has reportedly increased with severe shortage of fuel in the country caused by the border blockade imposed by India for over the past two months
