Two Men Arrested with Leopard Skin and Bones

Dhulikhel – Nepal : Central Investigation Bauru (CIB) of Nepal Police had arrested Laxman Bal aged 38 and Ram Bahadur Tamang (Shyam )aged 38 the residents of Sipali Chilaune-3, Kavrepalanchok form VDC of Bhakundebesi-7 of the same district. Police has seized one skin (7.3 ft. x 2.3ft.), 110 bones and teeth weigh 1.5 Kilogram of Clouded Leopard on 10 June, 2014. The CIB official had deployed by special information of transaction the skin and bones of leopard.  After arrested those persons have been sent to District Forest Office, Dhulikhel for further investigation. According to the  National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1972 the crime is punishable with fifty thousand to hundred thousand Nepali rupees of penalty or five to 15 years prison or both (Source : Facebook of Nepal Police)
