India: Two persons were arrested by Special Task Force of the Jakhalabondha Police force in collaboration with forest security force and Lahdoigarh police out post officials following a sting operation on the accused rhino-horn dealers.

The police officials acted as a buyer of the valuable rhino horn in the sting operation.

The police officials agreed to pay an amount of rupees 75 thousands against the rhino horn seller.  In the process, a rhino horn weighing approximate 1.2 kg was seized from the duo.

The Two persons were arrested are identified as Md. Ismail Ali and Md. Jahangir Ali from Kakajan Arandhora gaon from Teok of Jorhat district. 

The two accused persons have been sent for police remand for further investigation.

A case has been registered at the Lahdoigarh police station against the duo.
