Wild tuskar terror continues in Rautahat,13 houses destroyed

Nepal: A terror of the wild elephants has continued here in Lachhmuniya VDC of the district. A total of 13 houses were destroyed by wild elephants on early Friday morning. Two people of  a family were killed in an attack two days earlier in the same VDC. According to Dudhiawa police station, a group of wild elephants entered at a settlement of Lachhmuniya-9, Botuwa tole and destroyed six houses belonging to Krishna Prasad Dahal, Dhana Bahadur Tamang, Shambhu Mainali and Krishna Mainali. Similarly, seven other houses belonging to Bipat Mahara Chamar, Rajendra Chaudahry, Lekha Chaudhary, Thanait Mukhiya, Gogal Chaudhary, Sachin Rokka and Manjit Ale were also destroyed by the wild elephants in Bhausahi tole and Botuwa tole area, north of the VDC at around 3 am today.
